Branden Perrault had 106 yards rushing and two touchdowns and Taylor Klein recovered a fumbled punt in the end zone as Hermantown defeated Eveleth-Gilbert 48-8 in a Sea-Range Conference game in Eveleth, clinching the No. 1 seed in the Section 7AAAA high school football playoffs.

Hermantown earned a bye in Tuesday's first round and will play the winner of the

Cloquet-Grand Rapids game next Saturday.
