A rollover crash in the Denfeld neighborhood Tuesday morning sent the driver to the hospital and briefly knocked out power for almost 1,800 Minnesota Power customers.

A woman, the vehicle's only occupant, was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after suffering a "medical event," which caused the rollover at 34th Avenue West and Grand Avenue, according to the Duluth Police Department.

Her vehicle struck a power poll, leaving 1,800 customers in the Denfeld and Spirit Valley neighborhoods without power, Minnesota Power said.

Minnesota Power said power was restored by 10:30 a.m.
