Richard and Ellen Harkey of Jacobson and Hot Springs Village, Ark., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family at the DeSoto Club in Hot Springs Village and with an Alaskan cruise.
Richard and the former Ellen Gould were married Sept. 29, 1957, in Wayzata (Minn.) Community Church.
Their children are Donald and Kathy Harkey of The Woodlands, Texas, and Kenneth Harkey and Dee Herzing of Dakota, Minn. They have three grandchildren.
Richard is a retired electrical engineer from Minnesota Power in Duluth. Ellen is a retired recreational therapist.
