A reward of up to $2,500 is available for information leading to the identification of the person or persons who set fires that damaged three vehicles in the city Sunday evening and early Monday.
The fires were set on the 1500 block of East Fifth Street and in the alley on the 1600 block of East Sixth Street. One fire destroyed a pickup, while the other fire spread from one car to a second.
The Minnesota Arson Reward Project will pay a reward ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 for information or assistance that leads to an arrest and a favorable disposition of the case, said Duluth Police arson investigator Todd Kuusisto.
To provide information on the cases, call the state arson hotline at (800) 723-2020 or the Duluth police arson line at 730-5080.
