A hearing scheduled for today in Hennepin County Court for the former Superior School Board member accused of criminal sexual conduct was continued until Feb. 3.
The hearing for William Rehnstrand was continued so the attorneys could get all the information they need, said Robert Paule, a Minneapolis attorney representing Rehnstrand.
Rehnstrand is charged with one count of criminal sexual conduct in the third degree, a felony. He is accused of performing oral sex on a Superior High School student he was mentoring during an overnight school-sponsored trip to Eden Prairie in August.
Rehnstrand admitted to the sexual conduct with the student during an interview with Eden Prairie Police, according to the criminal complaint.
Neither Rehnstrand nor the victim appeared in court.
