Here's a snapshot of the other robberies and attempted robberies reported to police in Duluth in May:
* May 1: A black, newer Crown Victoria with spotlight and black tinted windows -- a recently retired squad car purchased at auction -- with three men inside stopped a man at North First Avenue West and West First Street. Someone told him to get in. One of the suspects took $1,100 cash out of the victim's pocket and allegedly told the victim: "Get out of my car before I pop you.''
* May 2: Two males, one wearing a black leather jacket, snatched a woman's purse as she was unlocking her door on the 1400 block of East Third Street about11 p.m. Inside her purse were credit cards, a checkbook and a cell phone.
* May 7: The US Bank at 130 W. Superior St. was robbed around noon. No weapon was seen. A note was written on hotel stationary and handed to a teller.
* May 10: A black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt snatched a woman's purse while she was standing in front of Pizza Luce with friends about 7:15 p.m.

* May 26: A home invasion robbery at 618 N. First Ave. E. A victim woke up at about4 a.m. to a man standing over him, The suspect pulled out a pistol, pointed it at the victim and attempted to steal a television. Kellen Rashad Nins and Bertina Lovine Haug were arrested and charged in connection with the case.
* May 27: A white male pointed a gun at a man's head at North First Avenue East and Sixth Street about 11 p.m. The robber allegedly said: "Lay down on the ground and stay down. I'll shoot you.'' A white female then went through the victim's pockets, taking his wallet with $5 cash and his identification.
* May 31: A pizza deliverer was robbed of $400 cash in the parking lot of the Chalet Motel, 1811 London Road. The victim had just delivered the pizza. The victim was thrown to the ground and punched several times in the head about 11:30 p.m.
