I found the front-page story about the hero pilot's driving record appalling ("Skydiving pilot had driving violations," Nov. 8). The newspaper just can't leave anything good alone. It didn't even have the integrity to put a reporter's name on the article.
The pilot's driving record had nothing to do with what happened.
