Reader's view: Ford's versatility puts her ahead as attorney

I want a St. Louis County attorney who is working to keep our communities safe, a leader who has a record of both prosecuting and preventing crime.

I want a county attorney who has years of experience managing many diverse types of organizations; someone who holds a degree in organizational management in addition to a law degree.

I want a county attorney who has effectively managed a $6 million budget in good times and bad and who knows how to make cuts without hurting core operations.

I want a county attorney who listens to the citizens of St. Louis County and then acts, a county attorney who is a genuine advocate for change.

I want a county attorney who represents all the people of St. Louis County, not just a particular group or portion of the community.

I want a county attorney who really does have integrity, and who always takes the high road because it's the right thing to do.
