Jennifer Rabe of Minnetonka, Minn., and Bryan Potvien of Plymouth, Minn., plan to be married Aug. 16 in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Brooklyn Park, Minn.
Her parents are Jeanette Rabe of Minnetonka and the late Ed Rabe. His parents are Robert and Donna Potvien of Duluth.
The future bride, a 2000 graduate of Hopkins (Minn.) High School, graduated from Minnesota State University in Mankato in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in family and child development. She is a child care teacher at Kinderberry Hill in Plymouth.
The future groom, a 1997 graduate of Duluth Central High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in management information systems. He is a business analyst at United Health Technologies in St. Louis Park, Minn.
