A public meeting to discuss the Pagami Creek Fire will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Schroeder Town Hall in Schroeder.
Speakers will include Mark Falk, Cook County sheriff; Patty Johnson, zone fire management officer; Steve Schug, U.S. Forest Service district recreation specialist; and Mike Aultman, incident management team commander.
Subjects to be discussed include pro-active preparations in Cook County, local fire conditions, restrictions and closures, and fire management preparations.
