Alex Clayton made 37 saves for the Trojans.

Jason Johnson's power-play goal with 30 seconds left in the second period lifted the visiting Hunters to the nonconference win.

Denfeld goalie Christian Coffman recorded 27 saves, one more than his counterpart, Adam Wilcox.

Chris Bishop scored two first-period goals and the Spartans added three more in the third period to defeat the Old Abes in a nonconference game at Wessman Arena.

Joel Pettingill stopped 29 shots for Superior.

GIRLS HOCKEY

Kayla Mork's second goal 3:34 into overtime gave Breck the win over the Northern Stars at Heritage Center.

Paige Turner had 33 saves in a losing effort.

Proctor-Hermantown-Marshall 2, North St. Paul 2

Julia Gilbert scored with 3:40 remaining in the third period to give Proctor-Hermantown-Marshall a nonconference tie with the Polars.

-- The Mirage lost 3-2 to Minnetonka on Friday, allowing the winning goal midway through the third period. The Skippers blanked Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 5-0 on Saturday behind two Rachel Ramsey goals.
