Keaton Romsaas added 10 points for Virginia (22-1, 10-1) the News Tribune's top-ranked large-school team, which clinched the Iron Range Conference title outright with the win.

Alia Cook's 19 points lifted the host Bluejackets to the Section 7AAA quarterfinal win.
Third-seeded Hibbing (14-13) advances to play second-seeded Hermantown (18-8) at 7:45 p.m. Friday at UMD. Hermantown advanced with a 47-30 victory over Milaca.

Jami Weiss of the Proctor-Hermantown-Marshall team scored two goals to lead the Fire All-Stars to victory over the Ice All-Stars in the K-1 Stars of the North All-Star Game at Cloquet.
Other Fire goals came from Mary Loken of Roseau, Amanda Bolstad of International Falls and Weiss' PHM teammate, Sarah Edgerton.
