Allison Wainionpaa totaled 35 set assists as the Spartans (21-5-1, 6-0) won 25-18, 20-25, 25-21, 25-20 to ensure they will finish with more points than either Hermantown or Cloquet.

Moose Lake-Willow River 48, Braham 21
Jake Disterhaupt rushed for 280 yards on 14 carries and scored four touchdowns to lead the second-ranked Rebels to the nonconference victory in a battle of unbeatens in Willow River.
Disterhaupt scored on runs of 6, 74, 51 and 5 to push season totals to 1,209 yards and 24 TDs. He's averaging 17.8 yards per carry.
Chris Gassert added 140 yards on 13 attempts and two TDs. Moose Lake-Willow River rushed for 536 yards in handing the fifth-ranked Bombers (6-1) their first defeat.

Holmes leads Superior
Leah Holmes won the individual title Thursday to lead Superior to the girls team title in the Lake Superior Conference Meet at Far Bar Golf Course in Duluth.
Proctor placed 2-3 to claim the boys team title. Ashland junior Bryce Miller won the 5,000-meter individual race in 15:47.
