Johnny Woodard and Dyami Starks each scored 22 points to lead Duluth East to a 68-64 nonconference boys basketball victory over host Forest Lake on Saturday night.
The Greyhound duo helped offset the performance of Forest Lake's Zach Riedeman, who scored 32 points, including four 3-pointers, as the Rangers' rally from a 10-point halftime deficit came up short.
Nick Toland added 11 points for Duluth East.
Barnum 55, Duluth Denfeld 52
Race Leonard's 22 points -- including four 3-pointers -- wasn't enough to hold off the host Bombers and their trio of double-figure scorers: Nick White led Barnum with 16, while Justin Newman and Taylor Carlson added 14 and 10, respectively.

Hibbing 57, Chisago Lakes 52
Logan Coleman, Chris Hanson and Connor Perry all scored 11 points to lead the Bluejackets to the nonconference road victory. Coleman also had 11 rebounds and Hanson dished out four assists.
Hibbing outscored Chisago Lakes 32-19 in the second half.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Cambridge-Isanti 75, Duluth East 68
After trailing 41-29 at halftime, the Greyhound's second-half rally came up short in the nonconference game played at Duluth East. The Greyhounds trailed by four points with a minute to go, but the Bluejackets' Whitney Olson hit all six of her free-throw attempts to ice the game. Olson led all scorers with 26 points, including four 3-pointers.
Alex Freeman's 16 points led Duluth East, while teammates Macie Dorow (13), Elsa Lee (11) and Shamika Hopkins (10) rounded out the team's double figure scorers.
Cambridge-Isanti improved to 4-0, while Duluth East fell to 3-2
