Junior quarterback Austin Pohlen threw two touchdown passes and the Grand Rapids defense kept the opposing offense off the scoreboard for the third time in four games in a 21-2 high school football victory over Duluth Central on Friday night at Grand Rapids.

Pohlen completed 16 of 29 passes for 239 yards. Senior receiver Jacob Sutherland had four catches for 68 yards and both scoring receptions for the Thunderhawks (3-1).

Running back Nate Beaulieu was held to

46 yards on 22 carries for Central (2-2).
