The remaining handful of Lake Country Power customers in northern St. Louis County without electricity after a storm earlier this week had service restored by Wednesday morning, the company announced.
Full service was restored at 3 a.m., Lake County spokeswoman Tami Zaun said.
Nearly 3,000 customers lost power Sunday night when winds knocked down trees that clipped power lines. Zaun said large trees also fell across roadways, causing a delay in restoring service.
Areas of St. Louis County affected were in Sand Lake, Lakeland, Britt, Gilbert and Aurora. Members in the Sand Lake and Lakeland areas were among the few remaining outages Tuesday night, Zaun said.
