Power restored in Lincoln Park, Piedmont area

Mylar balloons were to blame for a power outage that affected approximately 1,700 customers in Duluth's Lincoln Park and Piedmont Heights neighborhoods on Friday afternoon, Minnesota Power reported.

Service was restored at about 4:30 p.m., roughly an hour after the outage was first reported, the utility said.
