A power outage Tuesday evening left the Duluth City Hall Building without electricity and prompted the postponement of a Planning Commission meeting that had been slated for 5 p.m.
After waiting 15 minutes to see if the power service would be restored, Zandra Zwiebel, chairwoman of the Duluth Planning Commission, announced that the night's meeting would be canceled, as city hall does not comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act without working sound amplification, lights, elevators and other amenities.
The meeting has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 24.
