An hourlong power outage affected about 2,000 homes and businesses in parts of Duluth's Hillside, Endion and Kenwood neighborhoods Tuesday afternoon.
Minnesota Power said a bad underground cable at Triggs Avenue caused the outage around 11:30 a.m. Crews were able to switch feeders and restore power before 12:30 p.m., spokeswoman Kelley Eldien told the News Tribune.
The outage affected the campus of the College of St. Scholastica.
