Duluth police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery in West Duluth.
Police were called at 5:56 a.m. June 23 to the Little Store at 7002 Grand Ave. A man entered the store, pulled out a tire iron and asked the clerk for money. The man said he was in need of a couple of hundred dollars because his daughter was in the hospital dying.
The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash and ran eastbound from the store. No one was hurt.
The suspect was described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with a small build, about 19 years old, with a dark complexion and thick eyebrows. He was wearing a dark hooded sweat shirt.
The suspect's image was captured by the store's surveillance camera.

Anyone who has seen or knows the whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call 911.
