The unidentified male found deceased on the 10 block of East Fourth Street, near Central Hillside Park, over the weekend appears to have been accidental, the Duluth Police Department reported in a news release on Tuesday.
Preliminary autopsy results suggested a death due to exposure, police said, and toxicology results are pending.
The man has yet to be identified and the police are still investigating. Police were called at about 9:45 a.m. Saturday to a report of a person down. Temperatures were in the 20s on Saturday.
No further information was available, police said.
