Police looking for thief who used stolen card

Duluth police are seeking the public's help in finding a thief who broke into a parked car, stole a purse and then used a stolen credit card minutes later at a Superior convenience store.

A purse was reported stolen between 5 and 8 p.m. July 13 and surveillance cameras captured someone using a credit card from the purse about 8:30 that day. If you have any information call Investigator Shana Greene at (218) 730-5623.

Duluth police received a report that a car in the Munger Trail parking lot near Becks' Road in Duluth had been broken into and a purse stolen sometime between 5 and 8 p.m. July 13.

At 8:32 p.m. that day, a bank card in the stolen purse was used at a Superior convenience store. Police are looking for a young white male who was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt at the time of the purchase. If you have any information call Investigator Shana Greene at (218) 730-5623.
