Police identify man killed in Wisconsin motorcycle accident

Authorities on Tuesday identified a 44-year-old Maple Grove, Minn., man who was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday in Bayfield County.
The Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office reported that Bruce R. Olson was traveling on North Boundary Road, two miles west of County Highway C in the town of Bell, when he struck a rock in the road, lost control of his motorcycle and struck a tree. He was wearing a helmet and traveling at 55 to 60 mph when the accident occurred, the sheriff’s office said in its report.
Olson was taken by Life Link III helicopter to Duluth, where he was pronounced dead.
