Duluth police arrested a driver after a Jeep and motorcycle collided Thursday night.

It happened at 8:51 p.m. in the intersection of Piedmont Avenue and 24th Avenue West.

Officers on the scene said the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with at least two broken ribs and other injuries. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The driver of the Jeep was taken into custody after failing a field sobriety test.
