Duluth police on Monday released a security camera photograph of the suspect in Friday's armed robbery of the Pioneer Bank.
The bank, at 1600 Miller Trunk Highway, was robbed at 4:37 p.m. Sgt. Bob Shene, supervisor the Violent Crimes Unit, said police believe the man is larger than originally reported. Analysis of the bank video indicates that the man is at least 6 feet 2 inches tall with a very large build.
Though a police officer responded to the scene within two minutes of the activation of the bank's alarm, the suspect was able to flee on foot. The man wore a dark puffy jacket, a dark hooded sweat shirt and a dark ski mask during the robbery. No one was injured in the robbery.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Violent Crimes Unit at 730-5050.
