Lake Superior College biology instructor Glenn Merricks shows students in his Ecology of Minnesota class a fish they had caught in a seine in Superior Bay during a field trip to Park Point Monday. In addition to netting and identifying fish, the students also determined the pH, temperature, hardness and levels of oxygen, nitrates and phosphates in the water in the bay and across the Point in Lake Superior.
