Photo of the Day for September 1, 2014

A thundercloud laced with lightning lights up the sky and Lake Superior during Sunday night's storm. The bolts were only visible for about15-20 minutes before the clouds moved off further east and south over Wisconsin. The picture was taken with a 24 mm lens set to f/4.5, ISO 400 and 30-second time exposure on a tripod.  Bob King / rking@duluthnews.com Click photo to enlarge.
