Peter A. Reinertson, 101, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Sunday, January 7, 2007 at Country Living in Cotton, MN.

He was born in Duluth, MN on March 11, 1905 to two Norwegian immigrant parents; Lars and Tina Reinertson. Peter attended Longfellow school through the 8th grade. Hehad been the oldest living Confirmant of Our Saviors Evangelical Lutheran Church. Later in life, Peter learned some of the machinist trade from hisbrother-in-law, Harry Nelson and moved to Milwaukee, WI. Peter was happily married to Benice Reinertson for over 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors; hunting and fishing.

Peter is preceded in death by his wife, Bernice; four sisters, Tilla, Lee, Ida, and Ellen; and three brothers, Emanuel, Lewis and Raymond. He is survived by his niece, Alyce Talarico Graves of Duluth; Great Niece and Caretaker, Betty Jo Maher of Country Living in Cotton, MN and Great-Niece, Mary Lee (Jim) Henriques of Carlton, MN; Great Nephews, Michael Talarico of Duluth and Larry H. (Judy) Nelson of Duluth and addition family and friends around the world.

VISITATION: Noon until the 1:30 Rosary followed by a 2 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday, January 11 in Bell Brothers Chapel. Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery.
