A pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck Saturday evening in Pine County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the accident happened at 7:22 p.m. on Minnesota Highway 48 about five miles east of Hinckley. A Ford pickup truck traveling westbound struck the pedestrian just west of the intersection with Pine County Highway 20.
The pedestrian died at the scene. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
