Pedestrian injured near Central Entrance in Duluth

One person was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.

One person was hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Pecan Avenue and East Central Entrance around 4:55 p.m. Tuesday according to a report from the Duluth Police Department.

The person involved was transported to a local hospital for what police described as minor injuries sustained during the incident. The driver of the vehicle showed no signs of impairment, police said.

Authorities did not identify the driver or pedestrian.
