Patchy frost is possible in a few areas away from Lake Superior both Monday morning and Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service in Duluth reports.
Temperatures away form Lake Superior could fall into the low 30s both mornings if winds calm and clouds move away - especially in traditionally cold, low areas. If clouds persist, frost is not likely. A hard freeze is not expected either morning.
Morning low temperatures near Lake Superior will remain near 40.
After a cool, possibly damp start to the week temperatures are expected to recover nicely, with high temperatures at or near 70 by Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Normal high and low temperatures for Duluth this time of year are 68 and 48.
