Park Point Southworth Marsh Beach advisory removed

The "water contact not recommended" advisory placed at Park Point Southworth Marsh Beach on June 13 has been removed. Fecal indicator bacteria levels and averages have returned to acceptable levels.

The "water contact not recommended" advisory placed at Park Point Southworth Marsh Beach on June 13 has been removed. Fecal indicator bacteria levels and averages have returned to acceptable levels.

Park Point Southworth Marsh Beach is located on the harbor-side of Park Point, near 40th Street.

If anyone becomes ill after contact with beach water, contact Amy Westbrook at the Minnesota Department of Health Duluth office at 723-4907.
