The city of Duluth Parks and Recreation Department has announced that the Park Point Beach is now open.
This is the Parks and Recreation's sanctioned swimming beach and will be staffed with life guards from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Life guards will be on duty seven day a week, weather permitting, through Labor Day, Sept. 1.
