A young man and woman were arrested Thursday evening for their role in an attempted homicide that took place early Thursday morning.
At 3:15 a.m., the Pine County Sheriff's office received a report that a
30-year-old woman from Duluth had been stabbed in the neck at 45982 Grace Lake Road. The victim, Wah Bin Mi Gi Si Penie Robertson, remains hospitalized in critical condition at a Twin Cities hospital.
"The doctors told us the next 24 hours would really tell the story but they think she'll make it," Pine County Chief Deputy Steven Ovick said.

alcohol contributed to the encounter, which allegedly took place between Robertson and 20-year-old Teri Elizabeth LaSarge of Sandstone.
"It appears these two friends or acquaintances were hanging out with a lot of alcohol involved and a knife came out and someone was very brutally assaulted," Ovick said.
LaSarge fled the scene with help from Dain Micheal Quick and were on the run for much of Thursday, Ovick said. They called the sheriff's department to turn themselves in Thursday evening. They were arrested about 8 p.m. in southern Pine County and await charges.
