Other suggestions from the Students for the Future transition plan that could be implemented in the 2011-2012 school year.

Graduation: One graduation ceremony would be held for the western high school and one for the eastern high school, but students could choose whether to receive Denfeld, Central or East diplomas until the Class of 2013 completes high school. Scholarship availability would be dictated based on diplomas. Class rank would be combined in the two buildings.

Mascots and Colors: In two of three scenarios, East High School would keep its Greyhound mascot and traditional Red and Grey colors. For Denfeld, the group advised the school either keep its Hunter mascot and maroon and gold colors or adopt Central's Trojan mascot and switch its colors to red and gold. In a third scenario, the group recommended the district start over from scratch for both schools and pick new mascots and colors to accompany new school names. Some options suggested by the group include the Norsemen with red and black colors and the Thunder with blue and silver colors.

Jerseys: On jerseys that allow for it, a patch created to symbolize the consolidation from three to two high schools would be worn through the 2013 season.

Parking: Parking passes would go to seniors first with the remaining spots allocated to juniors through a lottery system.
