A 44-year-old Orr woman was sentenced Thursday to five years of probation, including nine months in a halfway house, after pleading guilty to stabbing a man during a domestic dispute, the U.S. Attorney's office reported.
In a plea agreement, Teresa Lynn Hill admitted that she stabbed a man in the chest and upper arm on the Bois Forte Indian Reservation on Aug. 28 of last year without just cause and with intent to inflict bodily harm.
U.S. District Judge Donovan Frank imposed the sentence in federal court in Duluth.
