One person was killed and a second injured this morning when a motorcycle hit a deer south of Hibbing.
The crash happened as the motorcycle traveled southbound on Minnesota Highway 73 about 13 miles south of Hibbing shortly after 10:30 a.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The injured person was airlifted to Duluth.
Information on the victims will be released Thursday morning.
