One person was killed in a one-vehicle accident Saturday morning in Aitkin County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Five people were traveling in a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix when it lost control on U.S. Highway 169 near Minnesota Highway 210 and hit several trees at about 6:15 a.m., according to the State Patrol.
The driver and three passengers suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, while one passenger was killed. The dead passenger was identified as Paige C. Brown, 17, of Cass Lake, Minn.
