A fight inside a convenience store Thursday night led to gunshots being fired and one man being arrested on Sixth Avenue in Duluth.
The Duluth Police Department reported Friday morning that a call came at 9:30 p.m. about a fight and gunshots at the Central Hillside ICO gas station at Sixth Avenue East and Sixth Street. Police were told three males were fighting in the store before shots were fired. It wasn't clear if the shots were fired inside or outside of the store.
The men fled after the shots.
An officer in the area spotted a suspect vehicle and made a stop. A 29-year-old man was arrested and is in St. Louis County Jail facing a "felon in possession of a firearm" charge.
Police said they believe the people involved all knew each other. The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the violent crimes unit at (218) 730-5050.
