One person died as a result of a three-vehicle traffic accident in Angora on Sunday. The identity of the victim was not released Sunday, pending notification of family.
The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 53 at 10:25 a.m. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis was traveling north and lost control on the icy road, crossing the center line. It was struck broadside by a southbound 1999 Buick Century. The Buick was then struck by a southbound Ford pickup.
Five people were involved in the accident. Their conditions were not available Sunday.
