A Cass Lake resident was killed Monday evening in one-vehicle accident along U.S. Highway 2 about nine miles east of Bena, Minn.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the westbound pickup truck the person was in ran off the highway and hit a tree. The accident happened shortly before 9 p.m. The State Patrol has not released the victim's name.
