Three of the four escapees from Mesabi Academy in Buhl Sunday morning have been captured. A 17-year-old remains at large after leaving the grounds of the correctional facility for young people.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office is seeking Devin Byker, a 17-year-old white male about 5 feet 8 inches tall with blond hair. He was wearing a green T-shirt and gray or blue shorts when he was last seen at 7:35 a.m. Sunday.
He was part of a group of four who escaped from the facility's exercise yard. Two of the individuals were quickly recovered. One turned himself in shortly after leaving and another was found near the facility.
One man was captured in Renville County in southwest Minnesota around noon Monday after a car stolen in Buhl was spotted there.
Anyone with information about Byker is asked to call 911.
