A 55-year-old male driver was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries after a vehicle crash on London Road in Duluth shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
The driver's 2019 silver Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling west on London Road, with a 56-year-old female passenger, when the man experienced a medical event and lost consciousness, according to the Duluth Police Department report. Police did not identify the parties involved.
The vehicle then drifted to the right and into the north shoulder of the road before crossing the London Road entrance to the 21st Avenue East McDonald's. The vehicle traveled up onto a sloped hillside before flipping onto the passenger side.
The woman reported no injuries while the man was taken to a local hospital. Police did not disclose the nature or severity of his injuries.
The police report stated impairment is not thought to be a factor.
