A car accident Sunday morning killed an adult female, and another person was critically injured and transported to a Duluth hospital, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Department.
The victim's name has not been released.
The accident occurred at Highway 105 and Mitchell Avenue near Oliver and was reported about 7 a.m.
