One woman is dead and at least one other person suffered serious injuries after a double accident on Wisconsin Highway 77 in Sawyer County on Sunday night.
According to the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office, a motorist made a 911 call to report an accident involving a car and motorcycle. During the 911 call, an SUV crashed into the car involved in the first accident.
Two victims were airlifted to Duluth and Eau Claire hospitals and one died later of injuries suffered in the accident.
The accident was reported just after midnight Sunday morning. Details of the accidents, including victims' names, were not released as of Monday evening.
