A 20-year-old Hinckley man was struck and killed by a pickup truck Saturday evening in Pine County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Dylan Benjamin was hit by a westbound Ford pickup truck at 7:22 p.m. Saturday on Minnesota Highway 48 about five miles east of Hinckley. The crash happened just west of the intersection with Pine County Highway 20.
Benjamin died at the scene. The driver of the truck, 54-year-old George Harth of Hinckley, was not injured. The Patrol said there was no alcohol detected in Harth's system. It was not known if there was any alcohol in Benjamin's system.
