The Northland Sustainable Business Alliance (NSBA) invites members and the general public to celebrate the release of its new and improved Web site.

The site is designed by Duluth entrepreneurs Marty Weintraub of TerraAura.com and Dustin Tauer of Studentwebmasters.com. The site will include information about monthly meetings, links to small business resources, a monthly newsletter and the NSBA member directory. It will eventually profile many of NSBA's member businesses.

NSBA is an association of locally owned, independent businesses in the Western Lake Superior Region. Charter members include 87 businesses, individuals and nonprofits. Its mission is to secure the economic, environmental and community health of the region by supporting independent local businesses.

Since its inception in April 2001, the Northland Sustainable Business Alliance has published and distributed a membership directory, launched a Web site and participated in community discussions about sustainable local business vs. big box development. NSBA has also hosted a variety of expert speakers at monthly meetings.

For more information, send email to info@northlandsustainable.biz , call 722-NSBA or visit the new NSBA Web site at http://www.northlandsustainable.biz .
