The NorthShore Inline Marathon will offer a new event this spring.
The May Day 10K will be open for skaters, runners and walkers. It is scheduled for May 1 and will be held in Two Harbors, with the course running along the freshly paved Lake County Highway 2.
"We wanted to give our skaters an event to kick off their spring training season, and thought runners training for summer marathons races - really, anyone looking to get in shape for summer - might enjoy being part of the fun," NorthShore Inline Marathon Executive Director Tara Alfonsi said in a news release announcing the event.
