As part of a fundraiser for the Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, Duluth City Attorney Gunnar Johnson and four-time Beargrease champion Nathan Schroeder will discuss their experiences participating in the 2017 Iditarod, a 979-mile race from Anchorage to Nome, Alaska.
The May 6 event also will feature a silent auction, Beargrease merchandise and refreshments. Admission is free, but a freewill offering will be collected at the gathering, which will run from 6 to 9 p.m. at Temple Israel, 1602 E. Second St., Duluth.
