Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin, has canceled its 46th annual Spring Powwow that was scheduled Saturday.
A Northland College task force decided to cancel the event, which draws 400 people, as a safety precaution in the midst of a growing number of confirmed COVID-19 cases around the nation, a news release from the college stated.
As of Wednesday, no COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Ashland County.
